I thought I’d write a quick post to explain my blog when you need some writing tips and tricks or just some information that may be presented differently than you’ve read or learned in the past.
Welcome to all new members. I hope you participate in the fun contests I hold periodically and get valuable advice here.
First, I have the blog www.thetimeiswrite.com to explain the ghostwriting process, as I am a Professional Ghostwriter. Second, it’s to help new and experienced writers to achieve their dream of writing books and getting published. If you look on the blog, you’ll see a section that says Help Me Write. In that section, you’ll find many articles on various subjects to help you craft your novel.
If you are new to novel writing and don’t know where to begin, I’d suggest you click on the section Step by Step. It takes you through the novel-writing process one step at a time in the order you’d write your book.
Some sections say Grammarly and Canva. I have them on there because I use those two programs constantly. Grammarly Premium is invaluable, and I highly recommend it. The amount of errors I see when I receive submissions for contests spins my head around. It’s sloppy, and nothing will turn off a reader more than a ton of mistakes you may not realize you’re making.
Canva is wonderful to create anything. You can find book covers, create newsletters, articles, invitations, and the list goes on and on. You can pay for premium just like Grammarly, but I don’t think it’s at all needed as it is for Grammarly. The free version is what I use and is great.
I hope that gives you valuable information that helps you. Please drop me a line and let me know what you think of the group and the blog. I’m always looking for ways to improve it and make it better for you.
Happy writing! Gina
